| Report: | A good win for Beverley this evening. The number one seeds kicked off the match which saw our Club Racketball Champion take on John Fuller, a formidable player in his own right. Predictably there were some long and impressive rallies throughout each game dominated by Adam from the tee, but credit to John who worked hard and made some fantastic recovery shots. In the end Adam proved too strong. At three the inform Phil Moses faced Ben Allen who was playing only his second Racketball match, he demonstrated some really good shots when his eye was in, but inevitably Phil was too strong and cruised to victory. The second seeds took to court and had a good battle, Mark took the early points but Pete found his rhythem, was consistent and m,arched on to win with the spectators enjoying some good rallies. |
