| Report: | A really good match played in great spirit, with some quality Racketball on show. Both Ian Taylor and Pete Kneeshaw controlled and dominated their games well, not losing a game on the night. The No1 seeds Dave Harris and Ben Riley were verry well matched and each point scored was hard earned, particularly in the first game which went to Ben. In the second game following a run of 'tins' from Dave which helped Ben string together six straight points, and the second game. However, the tied turned in the third game and Dave managed to reassert himself by playing the rallies and keeping the ball tight, taking his chances at the right time and went on to win the match. A great spectacle and attrition certainly aided victory. |
