“ Match report
Tonight friendly rivalries were put to the test as 1st team entertained the 2nd team. Statistically speaking the 2nd team may not have had the best odds, and so it was. The stand out match of the eve was the No3’s playing, the last time they played each other…..Hugh needed medical attention. After a scrappy start, Hugh revived his best play which has been absent for a long time, He was asked to apologise for wickedly lucky shots… but politely refused, Pete at times looked like he needed medical attention but in the end it was the only loss for the 1st team. The stand out win this evening was the post match curry at the Viceroy in town, all enjoyed with good humour and some age related faux pas” |
