| Report: | Great night of squash between these two Wigginton teams…always a bit of fun banter. Lewis lead early in each game, with Dave pushing late in the third game but just fell a bit short pushing to a fourth.
Leon and Joe had a close first game, but Joe rattled off 11 straight points in the second game finishing 5-15. Last two Leon managed to get more control on the ball winning last two 15-9.
Simon had a comfortable win in the first, but James managed to push hard in the last two scoring 10, then 12. Would have been interesting to see if James had the energy to take a fourth game.
Noah and Freddy had a cracking first game with Noah coming out on top 15-12. Freddy fell off his game in the second losing 4-15, but powered through to win the third 15-12. But Noah managed to get regain control winning the fourth 15-11.
Matt to the early lead winning the first at 15-9. George came back strong in the second just losing a marathon of a game 15-17. Matt rattled off 12 straight points in the third winning 15-5.
Thanks to Matt for making a lovely lasagna for the players. Good social afterwards…thanks all! |
