| Report: | A really good match tonight at Beverley. Some familiar faces arrived from Wigginton and they made a good start with the 'energetic' Carl cruising to victory in the opening tie. The remaining games saw old friends coming together on court again and on this occasion Joe just managed to hold off Tim in a 'firery' encounter. But the match of the night was a battle between the 2nd seeds, which really could have gone either way, a five-setter that ended 11-9 in favour of Phil, a good watch that gave a narrow victory to Beverley. The night ended with pizza and refreshments in the Clubhouse - Thank you Wigginton for travelling. |
