| Report: | Some good competitive Racketball on show tonight played in good spirit. The 2nd seeds was the toughest battle and could have gone either way from the mid-way point with the third game being particularly well contested. John took the match for Beverley in the end, but barring a few unforced errors Henry did not do too much wrong at all! A good match to watch. Up next were the 1st seeds, which again was good to watch and both players were well matched. At 2 love down Paul worked hard to pull a game back, but having already played a tough match immediately before this one, attrition won the day here and James played consistently to win the match for Malton. Last up were the 3rd seeds which started at a pace, but proved comfortable for Beverley in the end. This match ended with an injury to the Malton player who was caught on the bridge of the nose with the very last shot of the game, very unlucky and fortunately when the bleeding was controlled no further treatment was required. Pizza and drinks were enjoyed post match in the Clubhouse. |
